Sweat Lodge

AICDC operates a sweat lodge located on the same property as the Anishinabe Campus.

The origins of the sweat lodge in Anishinabe tradition date back centuries and remain a vital part of their spiritual and healing practices. Known as a place of purification, the sweat lodge is closely tied to the Ojibwe concept of bimaadiziwin—"the good life"—which emphasizes balance, health, and spiritual well-being. Sweat lodge ceremonies offer participants a sacred space for reflection, prayer, and renewal.
